About Andy Warhol (1928-1987)
American Pop Art icon whose Factory industrialized image-making and erased the line between commerce and fine art. Closely associated with Roy Lichtenstein (Pop comic-strip painter) and Robert Rauschenberg (combine-painter precursor).
