33rd US President who ended WWII (atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki), founded NATO and the Marshall Plan, and integrated the US military. Closely associated with Franklin D. Roosevelt (his predecessor) and Dwight D. Eisenhower (his successor). For an intellectual contrast, see Henry A.
