Closely associated with Fidel Castro (revolutionary partner) and Camilo Cienfuegos (fellow Cuban revolutionary commander). For an intellectual contrast, see Félix Rodríguez, Cuban-American CIA officer — Rodríguez led the Bolivian team that captured Che in 1967 and was present at his execution. The cleanest single event in the US-vs-Cuban-revolution proxy war — an exiled-Cuban CIA officer hunting down Castro's lieutenant in the South American jungle.
