Closely associated with Fidel Castro (revolutionary partner) and Camilo Cienfuegos (fellow Cuban revolutionary commander). For an intellectual contrast, see Félix Rodríguez, Cuban-American CIA officer — Rodríguez led the Bolivian team that captured Che in 1967 and was present at his execution.
