I used to think that the Taliban would come and they would just kill me. But then I said, 'If they come, what will you do, Malala?' Then I would reply to myself, 'Malala, just take a shoe and hit them.' But then I said, 'If you hit a Taliban with a shoe, then what is the difference between you and the Taliban?' You must not treat others with cruelty and that much harshly. You must fight others through peace and through dialogue and through education.
